Dr George Marcells

Dr Marcells has studied for more than 18 years to achieve his highly specialised surgical qualifications and has been in private practice for over 20 years.

He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) and a Member of the Australian Society of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery (ASOHNS). Dr Marcells is the current President of the Australasian Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery (AAFPS) and is the Australian representative for the International Federation of Facial Plastic Surgery Societies (IFFPSS).

Dr Marcells is regularly invited to share his knowledge and give talks to other specialists on Facial Plastic Surgery and Rhinoplasty at cosmetic medical and surgical conferences both nationally and overseas. He often presents at meetings of the Australasian Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery (AAFPS), Australian Society of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery (ASOHNS), Australian Rhinology Society (ARS), Cosmetic Physicians Society of Australasia (CPSA) and recently at the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS).

Dr Marcells specialises in primary and revision nose, and facial surgery. Many referrals to Dr Marcells are from other specialists. He has been a Facility Director at Bondi Junction Private Hospital and About Face since 2001.
